To ensure a smooth transition, below are a few steps to get your current home in tip top shape and prepare to place it on the market. Enhance Landscaping Consider adding mulch and plants to your yard and trim trees. Clean Home Exterior Consider powerwashing the exterior surface of home to remove built up dirt and stains, remove debris from curbs, driveway and main entry way to home. Make Home Repairs Repair any cracked windows, aging siding and gutters, broken mailboxes, dented garage doors, etc. Front Door Consider replacing or refinishing front and back doors that show aging. Add a welcome mat for a finishing touch.
